I’ll be on a cruise ship out at sea.

Heading to Bermuda, so we won’t see much.

envious of your telescope Maura, and the objects you must see in that light less sky. Enjoy the eclipse adventure. I did it in 2017 in Cuba Missouri. Loved it so much, it was biblical. Am doing it again in Westport, NY in Northern Adirondacks. You're right about traffic. We are located in the most densely populated area on Earth and 87, 89 and 91 will look like Woodstock 2 days before the show. You can literally be anywhere as long as sun is visible, parking lot, side of the road. Anywhere in path of totality, Just need about 20 minutes to prepare yourself. Enjoy!

Looks like Monday will be sunny in VT (and CT). Fingers crossed!

Look for me up there, Maura. I'll be in some roadside rest area, probably vertically parked and wearing a welding helmet. Steve B.

Hilarious. Eclipse Fever is gripping the nation and capitalism is at a fever pitch, as well. We were offered a bedroom in Cleveland. But Jim forecasts clouds there. Wherever you land, enjoy the magic and wonder of this celestial moment.

Sadly the weather forecast doesn’t look great for most in the path from Texas to NH. Parts on Maine look promising. I missed the last one, even though I owned property in SC where totality was perfect, I was stuck in Ohio…cloudy Ohio. Another reason I will never go back to Ohio.

I hope you do find a good location to view this event. I will be hiking in SC and hope to have 80% totality view.
